TOWNE MEETING IN AUGUST THIS YEAR

The Summer Sounds concert series continues in Highgate Municipal Park as Ray’s Extrusion Dies presents Towne Meeting in Highgate Municipal Park. The quintet blends strong harmonies and acoustic instruments in vintage and contemporary folk and folk-rock. And they drive a bright red 1976 Avanti, one of only 156 built that year, which is pretty cool.

Surprise Band Announced: Next Sunday, August 18, Summer Sounds will present the Rick Davis Band opening for Dick Prescott. Read more

ART ON THE WALLS

Northwestern Medical Center Gallery hosts Vermont Life photographer David Juaire of Georgia this month. The Artist In Residence Gallery has welcomed four new member artists/crafters: Barry and Maureen Genzlinger, John Selmar, and Cindy Weed. The 5th annual Cambridge Arts Council Festival of the Arts has more than 40 regional artists amidst the great food and music. Read more
