HIGHGATE IS WHERE IT’S AT

The Highgate 250th Anniversary Celebration will offer continuous entertainment Saturday afternoon and evening with the MVU Jazz band, singer Alanna Freeman, storyteller Virginia Holiman, Dark Horse, and more. There’s a free BBQ and ice cream and an Historical Sites Tour.

Dark Horse will play a special Summer Sounds concert there on Saturday evening at the special time of 6 p.m. Read more

The Colchester Summer Concert series is Supercharged. Annie Gets Her Gun at the Opera House. Backstage grants Justice. The 21st annual Jig in the Valley brings eight hours of music. The Chow Bella Comedy for a Cause series features Tim’s House. Read more

The 4th annual Undercover Concert takes over the Abbey Pavilion with Nightrain and Jamie Lee Thurston. The Fairfax Summer Concert Series has Carol Ann Jones with Will Patton and Dono Schabner. The Bakersfield Conservation Committee will host a special celebration with the Missisquoi River Band. Young Tradition Vermont offers up campers and instructors in An Evening of Music and Dance from Trad Camp. Mark your calendars! The Summer of Music is officially busy!

SUMMER SOUNDS

Bay Day 2013 kicks off a day with lots more than fireworks in St. Albans Town Bay Park. The summer festival offers the Great Race, lakefront games, sports, fair food, fireworks, and continuous live music, all to celebrate Independence Day.

SUMMER SOUNDS–The All Arts Council and the Town of St. Albans welcome the Keeghan Nolan Band playing into the fireworks.

LIVE MUSIC ALL AFTERNOON–The All Arts Council and the Town of St. Albans offer live music on the back stage with Chasing 440 plus Gary Dulabaum and Rebecca Padulla. Read more

The Artist In Residence Gallery features Pam Krout-Voss, Frank Tiralla, and Joanne Wasny with a free meet-the-artists reception with refreshments. The NMC Gallery hosts Bev Montiel. Read more
