ART ON THE WALLS

The FlynnDog Gallery Strength in Numbers exhibit of artists and art teachers from Franklin County will remain open as long as the building does. The Swanton Arts Council Youth Art Show has been cancelled. The Emerging Artist Award is still happening. Read more

IN THE ARTS COUNCILS

The Fairfax Arts Council has suspended its activities until further notice. Meanwhile, they encourage everyone to continue creating and to share your work. The Swanton Arts Council Spring Handmade Craft Sale has been postponed. Read more

FILM

The film screenings and discussions for the first Montgomery Center for the Arts Climate Action Film Festival have moved to online webinar formats. Read more

ON STAGE LIVE

All bars and restaurants have ceased on-site service to slow the spread of the coronavirus. The statewide order cancels or postpones all the live music at these venues. Read more

FRANKLIN COUNTY BOOKSHELF

Franklin County libraries are also struggling with all their public activities. The Swanton Free Public Library has closed the front doors but patrons may still check out books and movies, enjoy a wide selection of electronic books and audiobooks and more. Read more
