Rutland Area Art Association’s Art in the Park marks 50 continuous years of exhibits. Art Takes Miami wants innovative work in sculpture, installation, painting, photography, design, illustration, film, video, performance, sound, new media and more. The Mount Vernon Arts Commission regional juried visual arts show ties in to the harvest season. South Shore Art Center juried show Wax, Inc., is open to all artists working in wax. Read more

SUMMER IS NOW OFFICIAL!

Bay Day 2011 kicks off a day with lots more than fireworks in St. Albans Town Bay Park all day this Sunday. The 31st annual summer festival offers a full family day with the Great Race, lakefront games, sports, fair food, fireworks, and continuous live music, this year to celebrate Labor Day. Live music for Bay Day includes Neon Spoon plus Gary Dulabaum and Josh Brooks, and some very special guests. Then Carol Ann Jones & her All-Star Band The Superchargers perform right in to the fireworks in the Summer Sounds-Bay Day season finale. Read more
