Big news. All Arts is moving! The Grind Cafe to Draw Portraits. The Montgomery Center for the Arts has an Art and Recreation Camp. There will be Karaoke Promos, a Burlington Songwriters Group Session, AmerikanaBlue, Mark LeGrand, Funky Stuff, Tom Rush, the Young Tradition Touring Group with Andrea Beaton, Justice, and Chasing 440 on different stages. Big news. All Arts is moving! There’s an All-Day Arts Festival, workshops in painting, drawing, printmaking, and photography, How to Draw Portraits, and a Family Paint and Sip. Bill Schubart gives a Memoir-Writing Workshop. The Princess Bride is screened. Michael Zsoldos and the BFA Jazz Band join Trio Jota Sete for jazz. The BFA Drama Improv Team, Carol Ann Jones, Jenni Johnson & the Junketeers, Bethany and Troy, Shake the Band, the Bob Mackenzie Blues Trio, Ryan Sweezey, Nobby Reed and the Houserockers, and IncaHOOTS have gigs. There is Open Mic plus the Cupid Show and TNT Comedy Showcase, all live. We have calls for a Music Residency, Black & White Photography, the Youth Art Show, and Digital Art. Continue reading →

SAC hosts a Publicity Toolkit Planning Meeting and a Real Artists Don’t Starve discussion. The Second Friday Dance Social swirls. The Uncle Jimmy duet, Chris Parker, and Gypsy Wind play. 2018 will be another busy year. Mike Byers, Arlene Jarvis, and Ann Levy hang around the gallery. Cooie, the Nobby Reed Project, the Duel, the Ellen Powell Trio, and Graziano, Schofield, and Slim have gigs on different nights. St. Albans Community Arts and the Swanton Arts Council have projects.
