2018 is shaping up to be another busy year in the arts. The Northwestern Medical Center Gallery hosts Trine Wilson. MAG has a Robert Brunelle workshop. SAC hosts a Publicity Toolkit Planning Meeting and a Real Artists Don’t Starve discussion. The Second Friday Dance Social swirls. The Uncle Jimmy duet, Chris Parker, and Gypsy Wind play. 2018 will be another busy year. Mike Byers, Arlene Jarvis, and Ann Levy hang around the gallery. Cooie, the Nobby Reed Project, the Duel, the Ellen Powell Trio, and Graziano, Schofield, and Slim have gigs on different nights. St. Albans Community Arts and the Swanton Arts Council have projects. There is still time to make a 2017 contribution to your favorite arts council. The Shane Murley Duet, Ryan & Slim, Silver & Gold, Sean Jarvis’ Open Mic, Young Tradition Vermont, the Donna Thunder Band, Cozy O’Donnell, the Hitmen, Bad Horsey, and Justice play on different nights. This week, Christmas Vacation for free on screen. Carol Ann Jones, Jenni Johnson, Ryan & Slim, Shake the Band, Bethany Connor and Troy Millette twice, once with Dylan Gombas and Chad Conant, NightHawk, the Tim Brick duo, Erin Cassels-Brown, Fiddleheads, the Starline Rhythm Boys, and the Young Tradition Touring Group twice on stage plus the Holi-DAZE Solstice Show and Comedy Showcase. We’ll see commemorative art, try a Family Paint and Sip and a Handmade Ornament Exchange. Terry Rice, Deborah Shell, Sally Tarr, Wayne Tarr, and Trine Wilson hang around on different walls. The arts have touched all of our lives all year. Saturday is Small Business Saturday. Swanton and Morrisville celebrate Christmas. The ninth annual Festival of Trees begins.
