I’ll be “off the grid” for my road trip for a few more weeks. ArtBits will continue. The Concert for Grumpy Grownups series brought the VYO Winter Concert to the MVU stage. The Artist In has a reception, the Milton Artists Guild has a Holiday Artfest, and River Arts holds Viva Las Artes. A Writer’s Group meets. The Nobby Reed Project, Pierre Chartrand, Alexis Chartrand and Nicolas Babineau, Carol Ann Jones and her Trio, Roy Hurd. I’m off on a road trip but there is plenty of art. Dynamic Duos, has adult Superhero- and Supervillain-themed costumes with music and art. Artists Steve Boal, Shanna Ratner, El Towle, Deborah Travis, and Open Studio are all in the spotlight. Swanton is just Ducky. The Nobby Reed Project, the Lonesome Mountain Boys with Will Patton, The Duel, the Smokey Newfield Project, Inseldudler, Bucky Lewis, and Carol Ann Jones all have shows. Bess O’Brien’s film All of Me is screened. It’s Tractor Day, books get donated and Humanities are for Everyone at our libraries. Continue reading →
