Summer Sounds is back in just two weeks. There is an art show at the Railroad Depot Museum, a Pinwheel Art Installation Meeting, the Barn Quilt Challenge. Breakwaters continues summer music. Will Patton, Carol Ann Jones, Dance Campers, Fiddleheads, the Vermont Jazz Ensemble., Frankie Gavin, and the Citizens Concert Band appear on different stages. The Opera House Theater Camp is coming. Franklin County lost a friend of the arts on Sunday when Lyle Glidden passed away at home. Art on the Refuge takes over the Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge. The Emerging Artist Award and the final SAC Artist Gathering this season are imminent. Carol Ann Jones Scott DuBois and Ryan Hanson, the Smokey Newfield Project, Melting Point, and the Nobby Reed Project take the stage. Open Band Night is back. Li’l Abner needs a cast.
