Summer Sounds continues its 33rd season in Highgate with favorites Yankee Chank on the lawn at the Highgate Arena. Bob Naess, Cannon Labrie, Jim Burns, and Mark Sustic, will immerse the park in Cajun music. Read more

ART ON THE WALLS

The Haston Library presents the Art of Vera Gates with an opening reception. Corliss Blakely hosts an exclusive Art Show at her garden and home. The Artist In Residence collection spotlight is on stained glass artist Jennifer Buckner. Bryan Memorial Gallery features both T.M. Nicholas and Tom Nicholas in the 40 Years Together Show. Cold Hollow Sculpture Park welcomes Stephanie Cardon as their 2024 artist-in-residence. The Vermont Abenaki Artists Association features historian Melody Mackin. Read more

Island Arts opens the barn doors to the joy of community dancing to lively music with Leslie Alpert. Celebration of Expressive has dance as Alice Reighley shows how a belly dance exercise tape changed the trajectory of her life. Read more

FESTIVALS AND SHOWS

The 2024 Church Street Festival takes over the historical street with dance, a DJ, activities, ice cream and more. The 32nd annual Jig in the Valley fills the Meeting House green with eight hours of music. Read more

Jay Craven returns with Lost Nation, the birth of Vermont and the promise of an American Revolution, at the Welden Theater. Read more

St. Albans Community Arts has Creative Connections twice, Blackout Poetry, and the Open Studio Music Group. The Milton Artists’ Guild has Paint Pouring Workshop with Laurie Thompson, Social Sunday, and the Workshop for those with Dementia and their Caregivers with Tina Lesperance. Read more
