ON STAGE LIVE

The Young Tradition Touring Group, Too Much, Cooper and Lavoie (twice), the Dale and Darcy Band, and the Growlers appear on different stages. There is a Family Christmas Ball and Silver & Gold. Read more

NEW YEAR’S EVE CELEBRATIONS

Highlight is the new citywide celebration in Burlington with a list of “bottom-up programming.” The 26th First Night North brings about 250 performers and a host of fine artists to St J. The Last Night festivities are a one-night-only party in the Railroad City. Chris and Erica, the Nobby Reed Project, and Justice have New Year’s Eve gigs. Read more

LOOKING BACK AT THE YEAR

Sunday evenings had Summer Sounds with Mark Shelton, Northern Flyer, Anderson Gram, Dr. Jazz, the Hokum Bros., Clare Byrne, and Jimmy T. The Downtown Summer Concerts and the Festival of Trees filled St Albans. Swanton had Crafts, awards, Plein Air Painting, Writers, Chalk, workshops, Art Shows, and more.

The Artist In Residence Gallery, the Northwestern Medical Center Gallery, and the Village Frame Shoppe had major exhibits. The BFA Performing Arts Center, the Church Street Sounds of the Season, the Opera House, Summer Evenings with Vermont Treasures, Summer Music at Grace all put on multiple shows and 14th Star, the Bayside, Mill River Brewing, and Twiggs offered music and art all year.
