Artbits-November 24, 2016
I ask some of our friends what they are thankful for. Small Business Saturday, a new CD, the Handmade Holiday Fair, the Festival of Trees, and Christmas in the Park this week. The Ellen Powell Trio, the Bob Boyd Trio, Quadra, the Phil Abair Band, and Mr. French have gigs and there is a free Holiday Movie. Continue reading

BFA Drama stages The Wizard of Oz. The Fender Benders, Vermont Chamber Jazz, Justice, and Arnold Steinhardt and the Parker String Quartet appear on different stages. Continue reading

Artbits-November 3, 2016
I’ll be “off the grid” for my road trip for a few more weeks. ArtBits will continue. The Concert for Grumpy Grownups series brought the VYO Winter Concert to the MVU stage. The Artist In has a reception, the Milton Artists Guild has a Holiday Artfest, and River Arts holds Viva Las Artes. A Writer’s Group meets. The Nobby Reed Project, Pierre Chartrand, Alexis Chartrand and Nicolas Babineau, Carol Ann Jones and her Trio, Roy Hurd. Giovanina Bucci, Arthur James, the Will Patton Quartet and Carol and Will together all take the stage. Nanowrimo calls writers. Continue reading
