SUCCESSFUL SUMMER SOUNDS

The 26th season of Summer Sounds brought exceptional performances “from away” with groups rarely heard here in Franklin County but the regular season came to an end on Sunday, just in time for the Champlain Valley Fair to start. ON STAGE LIVE

Carol Ann Jones will sing the National Anthem. One Fed Summer has the Nobby Reed Project. Higher Ground wraps the Northern Exposure Summer Series. Twiggs has the Tony Whedon Trio, Chad Hollister, and The Duo. Sean Casey plays Arrowhead Golf Course. Brews for Rescues is a family and dog friendly day of live entertainment. The Swanton Chamber hosts Almost Nowhere. The Alburgh SummerFest and Chili Cookoff presents the Nobby Reed Project, Bruce and Mary, Coon Hill John Band, Donna Thunder and Friends, and Rick Norcross. Summer Evenings with Vermont Treasures presents the Austin Piazzolla Quintet. And Summer Music at Grace celebrates the Grace Church 200th Anniversary. The Island Arts 2016 Summer Concert Series concludes with PossumHaw. A&M concludes the Downtown Summer Concert Series. The Ten Best Days of Summer kicks off as the Champlain Valley Fair hosts Vermont’s Music Showcase. Read more
