NOVEMBER-DECEMBER ART DEADLINES

Focal Point, Maryland Federation of Art’s open-juried all photography competition, closes today. Recycled, Repurposed, Recovered is my kind of show. The DC Independent Film Festival calls for strong art/experimental films. Cell Phone Photography is an exhibit moving past the camera. Read more

FRANKLIN COUNTY BOOKSHELF

The Enosburgh Public Library has cider and donuts and Bent Northrup Memorial Library has a Hard Cider Making Workshop. Fairfax continues the Vermont Movie series. Several libraries celebrate International Games Day. The Montgomery Creative Writing Contest was an excellent night. Sheldon will discuss JP Choquette’s Restitution. Busy day in St Albans with Mornings, Muffins & Mysteries, the Writers’ Medley, and Astronomy Club, plus Stir the Pot. Read more
