Downtown presents IncaHOOTS. Summer Evenings with Vermont Treasures offers Rush Run Philharmonic and legendary wood-fired pizza. Nobby Reed Project plays Swanton Park and the Harpoon Barbecue Championship of New England.Bluegrass Brunch features the Missisquoi River Band live. Will Patton will teach and jam in the Heartland. Furchgott Sourdiffe Gallery features Fairfield artist Gail Salzman in their annual summer show, Running the Gamut: From Realism to Abstraction. Read more

ON STAGE LIVE

The Breakwater Cafe and and the Old Dockhouse both feature the Nobby Reed Project. One Fed presents Barbie-n-Bones. Twiggs has Bob Young, Vern Colburn, and Inca Hoots on different nights. The world famous Oleo Romeos play the bandshell. Donna Thunder and Chris Martin run an open mic. It’s naked Justice at the Turtle. Carol Ann Jones hosts Music in the Meadow, then plays Ox Bow Park with Will Patton. Anna Roberts-Gevalt, Elizabeth LaPrelle, and Kaïa Kater perform in the BCA Center. Read more

The All Arts Council and the Town of Highgate bring the 25th Summer Sounds back home to Highgate with more of the sounds of New Orleans. Each summer concert will bring back a group that played the first decade of this popular series. Read more

HORRORS!

Fairfax Community Theater Company presents the Rocky Horror Picture Show with a live cast. The musical tells the story of newly engaged couple who break down in and seek help at the castle of Dr. Frank-N-Furter and his new creation, the muscle man named Rocky Horror. Read more

Fill Swanton with color in the Sidewalk Chalk Day. The Northwestern Medical Center Gallery hosts photographer Jennifer Theoret. Read more

The Supercharged Snow Farm Vineyard has Carol Ann Jones with the band. She also hosts the Paddle Open Mic. The One Fed Summer Concert Series presents Them Nakeds. The All Arts Council 25th Anniversary Summer Sounds concerts begin with Mango Jam at Bay Day. We’ll have bands from the first years every Sunday and wrap up with a day long concert with continuous music on the last day of Summer. Read more

ZOUNDS!

Summer Sounds starts at Bay Day! The 35th annual festival is a day with lots to do: the Great Race, lakefront games, sports, fair food, fireworks, and continuous live music, all to celebrate Independence Day. Chasing 440 and the Padula/Thunder/Martin Trio play all afternoon and Mango Jam takes us into the fireworks. Read more
