The Fairfax Arts Council has suspended its activities until further notice. Meanwhile, they encourage everyone to continue creating and to share your work. The Swanton Arts Council Spring Handmade Craft Sale has been postponed. Read more…

The film screenings and discussions for the first Montgomery Center for the Arts Climate Action Film Festival have moved to online webinar formats. Read more…

ON STAGE LIVE

All bars and restaurants have ceased on-site service to slow the spread of the coronavirus. The statewide order cancels or postpones all the live music at these venues. Read more…

FRANKLIN COUNTY BOOKSHELF

Franklin County libraries are also struggling with all their public activities. The Swanton Free Public Library has closed the front doors but patrons may still check out books and movies, enjoy a wide selection of electronic books and audiobooks and more. Read more…
