      The Big Four Music Weeks of the summer enters its third week with a Summer Sounds concert, plus a Christian Music on the Parks concert, a Citizens Band concert, and the Lake Champlain Bluegrass Festival.

ART ON THE WALLS

      The Artist In Residence Gallery spotlight is on Beth McAdams, paintings; Melissa Haberman, paintings and hand pulled prints; Heidi Lague, paintings and hats; and David Gate, hand blown glass vessels. There is an Artist Reception with refreshments this evening at the Gallery. Read more

ON STAGE LIVE

      The Seventh annual Lake Champlain Bluegrass Festival kicks off with the Gibson Brothers, Banjo Dan & The Midnite Plowboys, our own Big Spike Bluegrass, and so much more. The Richford Farmers Market presents Singer/actor Tim Stetson and His Invisible Friends in Davis Park. The summer Christian Music on the Parks Concert Series presents Falling Forward on Saturday at Lincoln Park. The Citizens Concert Band performs its final concert of their Town Park series at St. Albans Bay Park. The Fairfax Community Theater Company will hold auditions for the Brothers Grimm Spectaculation beginning Wednesday. Read more

      The Big Four Music Weeks of the summer continue with a Summer Sounds concert, plus a Citizens Band concert, Community Night at the Opera House, Franklin County Field Days, and Summer Music at Grace.

      The Summer Sounds concert series continues in Highgate Municipal Park as Desorcie’s Market presents Mango Jam in a triumphant return to Highgate on Sunday evening. The new Highgate Farm Market has fresh fruits and vegetables, some craft items, and even bakery sweets at Summer Sounds. Read more

ON STAGE LIVE

       Village Harmony returns to Summer Music at Grace this evening. Today through Sunday, Vermont’s finest country fair takes to the fields of Highgate with great music, arts and crafts, and of course weeds. The Opera House at Enosburg Falls presents a Community Night at the Opera House. The Citizens Concert Band performs in the Swanton Village Park. Read more

IN JIG TIME

 The fifteenth annual Jig in the Valley offers an eclectic day of outdoor music in a good cause. The year marks the return of bluegrass music and will also feature an eclectic mix of jazz, fiddling, do-wop, salsa, and blues. The performers include The Backyard Bluegrass Band, David and Janice Carr, John Cassel, the Nobby Reed Project, and the Fabulous Spiders. Read more

 Lake Champlain Cruises presents a sunset dinner cruise with the Nobby Reed Project tonight. The Lord Family appears in the summer Christian Music on the Parks Concert Series.
