The NVAA first Fall show and South Shore Art Center’s annual fall benefit are on. Carol Ann Jones, Jenni Johnson and the Junketeers, the Spooky Spooktacular and TNT Comedy Showcase, Arthur James, Leadfoot Louise, Shane Cariffe with King Arthur Junior and Fertile Soil, St. Albans Maple Squares and Young Tradition all take to different stages. The Museum previews the Vietnam War. Permaculture design comes to the Chaffee. We have calls from the Monterey Peninsula College Art Gallery and On Screen/In Person. Continue reading

The Stars at NMC are sending boxes of protective gear to the Keys. The King Returns to the Flynn in a benefit to aid the fight against cancer. SAC hosts an Art Social and Pin Swap, an annual meeting, and the Writer’s Group. The Opera House at Enosburg Falls presents three hilarious plays. Tim Brick, Cooper and Lavoie, Inseldudler, the Blue Rock Boys, Coon Hill John, and Carol Ann Jones hit the stages. There is a screening of Blood, Sweat, and Beer. Continue reading

The SAC will film for Swanee 2. Nobby Reed Project, Franklin County Voices, Gypsy Wind, Chris and Erica, Nightrain, John Smyth and Jenn Croteau, Third Shift with Colleen McLaughlin, the Michele Fay Band, and Frevo have gigs. The Big Music Weeks of Summer see David Rosane and the Zookeepers in Summer Sounds. Carol Ann Jones shows the Power of Music. Will Patton and Mark Struhsacker, Jenni Johnson, IncaHoots, Sergio Torres, The Duo, Roy and the Wrecks, Justice, the Girls Rock Vermont Showcase, Shake, the Blue Rock Boys, Montana Russell-Greene with Jared Kenyon and Kai Jamil, the Brewster Bros. with Isaac French and the Take Five jazz ensemble perform. Northern Exposure and The Giggles & Jiggles take the stage. NVAA has a show, the Library has an auction and the Grind hosts a workshop. Sidewalk Chalk Day is here. There is a Family Movie Night.
