Make-a-Wish seeks art. Artisans Market seeks artists. And we have calls for the Emerging Artist scholarship and a River Arts Exhibition. The February Art Walk takes over downtown. Carol Ann Jones (twice), Jenni Johnson, Nightrain, Erin Cassels-Brown, Cooie and Robin, Remedy, Will Patton, and Yankee Chank all have gigs. The First Brew Haha, a TNT Comedy Showcase, the Pets Love and Fashion Show, and the Winter Is A Drag Ball come to a stage near you. There are even Parenting Workshops. Continue reading

We have a call for the Spring Youth Art Show. KidZArt 2017 celebrates. SACA meets and SAC could raise some money. BBP, Giovanina Bucci, Sean Casey, and Jamie Lee Thurston perform. There is dinner music and candlelight, a Show The Love Gala, a talk on the Western Abenaki, and the second Friday Dance. Libraries have books, movies, tech help, and more. Continue reading

I’ll be “off the grid” for my road trip for a few more weeks. ArtBits will continue. Halloween in the Park takes over Swanton. Swanee: Vengeance Takes Flight. An Archie Fisher House Concert, Kari Beth and Michael Albee, Coon Hill John, Justice, and the Advance Music Singer/Songwriter Contest all take the stage. There’s a Costumed Gala and an NVAA exhibit. Deja Nous, Daniel Rahilly and Ty Cicia, Patti Casey and Tom Mackenzie, the Nobby Reed Project, Ian MacHarg and Hazen Metro with the Heather Morris Celtic Dancers, Prydein, and Yankee Chank all perform.
