Summer Sounds is resting up for the big 25th Anniversary Festival next month but there is still plenty of music playing: No Left Turn, Carol Ann Jones with Will Patton, Woods Tea Company, the Rose Wharf Band, Missisquoi River Band, Bob Young, Vern Colburn, Elliott Johnson, the 5th annual Cambridge Music Festival, and an Open Mic night. Summer Sounds takes the week off for Field Days’ 40th anniversary. Starline Rhythm Boys, Close to Nowhere, the Chameleon, the Bluerock Boys, Carol Ann Jones, and the Citizens Concert Band all appear on stages around the county. The Artist In Residence Gallery features Barb Langevin, Larry Langlais, and El Towle. Yearbooks, a hero movie, Art Camp, Drawing Bots and writers reading at a library near you. Continue reading

The Big Music Weeks of Summer continue. The 25th Summer Sounds has the Constitution Brass. The Nobby Reed Project plays both sides of the lake. Barbie-n-Bones, Bob Young, Vern Colburn, Inca Hoots, the world famous Oleo Romeos, Donna Thunder and Chris Martin, Anna Roberts-Gevalt, Elizabeth LaPrelle, and Kaïa Kater. Justice gets naked.
