The Bach Project, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Justifice, the Shane Murley Band, Shake the Band, Christine Malcolm, Cooie & Sergio, Karen Weber & the Funkin Conch Band all take to different stages. All Arts has moved. Robert Waldo Brunelle Jr. leads Acrylic Painting. The 20th Annual Quilt Show has hand-made and vintage quilts. Mark Doremus, Barry Genzlinger, Maureen Genzlinger, Anne Standish, El Towle and Bob Degree exhibit. SACA has an email newsletter and a MeetUp. There’s a Writer’s Panel at the library. AliT, the Nobby Reed Project, John Smyth and Jenn Croteau, the Buck Hollers, the Young Tradition Touring Group, the Island Time Band perform around the countyand there’s an Open Mic Night. All Arts has moved! WNET, too! Art from the Center continues and How to Draw Portraits has an art show. CAC holds its annual Members Meeting. Swanton Writer’s Group meets. Rotary Expo has free admission. MCA hosts Belly Dancing. Carol Ann Jones, King Me, Renegade Groove, Tim Brick, Uncle Jimmy, Jenni Johnson, Bethany & Troy, Shake the Band, Rushmore Band, Justice, Jimmy T., and the Nobby Reed Project plays gigs around the state. There is Lucky Leprechauns and Brew Haha Vermont comedy. The SAC Youth Art Show and the Emerging Artist Award deadlines loom. Continue reading
