The Shane Murley Duet, Ryan & Slim, Silver & Gold, Sean Jarvis’ Open Mic, Young Tradition Vermont, the Donna Thunder Band, Cozy O’Donnell, the Hitmen, Bad Horsey, and Justice play on different nights. And we go dancing! Two First Night cities have Franklin County local or favorites performers. And we look back at what All Arts Council and the Other Major Presenters did. Continue reading

Artbits-December 21, 2017
This week, Christmas Vacation for free on screen. Carol Ann Jones, Jenni Johnson, Ryan & Slim, Shake the Band, Bethany Connor and Troy Millette twice, once with Dylan Gombas and Chad Conant, NightHawk, the Tim Brick duo, Erin Cassels-Brown, Fiddleheads, the Starline Rhythm Boys, and the Young Tradition Touring Group twice on stage plus the Holi-DAZE Solstice Show and Comedy Showcase. And, 2017 was busy in the arts: the Franklin County Festivals and our Libraries. Merry Christmas. Continue reading

Richford Community Chorus performs for Montgomery Holiday Happiness. The Swanton Writer’s Group will meet. Three Christmas Plays start a three day run. Carol Ann Jones three times, IncaHoots twice, and Leno & Young, Mark LeGrand, Myra Flynn, Bad Horsey play different nights. There is a StorySLAM and two Open Mics. We have library links. Artbits-December 7, 2017
We’ll see commemorative art, try a Family Paint and Sip and a Handmade Ornament Exchange. Terry Rice, Deborah Shell, Sally Tarr, Wayne Tarr, and Trine Wilson hang around on different walls. The Second Friday Dance Social cha cha cha. There is a community arts meeting and three Christmas plays. The Nobby Reed Project, the Carol Ann Jones Quartet, AmerikanaBlue, Cooie & Skip, the Shane Murley Band, plus an open mic, a song and celebration, and Northern Exposure all on stages.
